Shelsley is situated just 15 minutes away, in the Teme Valley. It is home to the famous Shelsley Walsh Speed Hill Climb, the oldest motorsport venue in the world that is still in use today.

See animals on Safari, walk through incredible life-sized dinosaurs, and, if you are in the mood, add on ride wristbands to use in the Theme Park! An incredible day out for everyone, the safari park is just 30 minutes away.

Nestled at the foot of the Malvern Hills, the Three Counties Showground has events, festivals and shows throughout the year. Whether you are an RHS member, country-living fan or visiting one of the many enthusiast shows, Wagtail Retreat is an ideal base for everyone. (30 mins)

Step back in time on an award-winning historical adventure to the golden age of steam! Fill your senses with the sights, sounds, aromas and sensations of heritage rail travel. The main railway station is in Kidderminster, which is approximately 20 mins away. 

Severn Valley Railway

Returning to Worcester City from August 2023, the Piston Gin School will be opening its doors in the beautiful Diglis Basin, just 15 minutes away. You will be able to take charge of your own copper still and create your own, uniquely flavoured bottle of gin – as well sampling many of the gins that Piston make.

If you love classic institutions and beautiful cars, then the Morgan Visitor Centre will be a great day out.  Situated in Malvern Link, about 40 minutes from Wagtail, this is a great experience for all petrol heads out there.
