Dog-Friendly

Having our own working cocker spaniel, Bertie, we know how important it is to be able to take your dog away with you on holiday. Dogs are therefore very much welcome at Wagtail Retreat for an additional fee. We provide dog beds, treats, bowls, dog towels and Bramley’s Digby Dog Wash for up to two dogs per Hut, to ensure your four-legged friends are as comfortable as you. We would ask that you do not leave your dog (s) alone in the hut and that they are kept under control at all times, both for their safety and the comfort of others.

Wagtail Retreat is in a lovely, rural location, surrounded by farms and beautiful countryside. There is a lovely bridle path on-site, accessible from the lake, where you can take your dog (s) for an early morning walk but please always ensure your dog is on a lead when you are out and about. If you want to go further afield, we have included many of our favourite local walks both on the website and in the welcome pack in each hut.
